VRDS (Vale Royal Disability Services)
Vale Royal Disability Services is a user-led voluntary organisation. We are an independent Disability Service Provider with volunteers comprising the majority of our personnel.
Our principal aim is to improve the quality of life of disabled people, primarily within Central Cheshire, and provide free, confidential and impartial information to disabled people, their family, friends, carers and professionals working in the field of disability
Our aim is to actively work to promote and foster a greater understanding and awareness of disability by voluntary and statutory authorities, and to exercise an influence on the development of social policies, both locally and nationally.
We need to have accurate and reliable information and we continue to update and monitor all information collected and collated to ensure it is of a wide ranging nature that is appropriate to every aspect of a disabled person's life.
An exciting, accessible learning centre has been set up by Vale Royal Disability Services to help disabled people in Vale Royal achieve a greater level of social inclusion by developing new skills. It is our belief that such learning opportunities should be available to all.
